Dispute Finder

This new application includes the following to present multiple viewpoints, opinions, fact check, challenging point of views. (ie: global warming does not exist)

  • Firefox plugin - will tell you if some source that you trust disputes a certain website. This means that if you use firefox plugin you will be labeled as a critical thinker.
  • Pocket buzzing - will listen through your pocket to let you know if you are passing on mis-information.

Goals

  • To make politics more non-monetary.
  • To educate people - like students to not cite mis-informed

Wikipedia Discussion

  • What is a reliable source? ie: band vs. country.
  • Wikitrust - reputation in the wikipedia community. Statistical information. Only said - did someone change this? or did someone change this because it's right. How many people view the page (cannot get this data)

Questions / Opinions

Drug companies have bought peer reviewed work. ie: Merc and the doctor that was a fraud.

  • How does it know if you're sarcastic? What are the social affects? What about if you trust certain sources but if you don't trust.
